Jakarta – Dalam momentum peringatan Hari Buruh Internasional atau May Day pada 1 Mei 2025, Kepala Kepolisian Daerah (Kapolda) [Nama Daerah] menyampaikan inisiatif sosial yang mengundang perhatian publik. Kapolda menawarkan kesempatan bagi anak-anak buruh berprestasi untuk mengikuti tes masuk kepolisian secara khusus, sebagai bagian dari program inklusi sosial dan pembinaan SDM berkualitas.

Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan ruang partisipasi lebih luas bagi kalangan menengah ke bawah, khususnya anak buruh yang kerap mengalami keterbatasan akses terhadap peluang karier di institusi negara seperti Polri. Kapolda menegaskan bahwa anak-anak berprestasi yang memenuhi syarat akademik dan integritas akan difasilitasi dalam proses pendaftaran.

Mendorong Polri yang Lebih Inklusif dan Beragam

Langkah ini sejalan dengan semangat reformasi Polri yang tengah digalakkan, yakni membuka pintu seleksi yang lebih transparan, adil, dan berbasis meritokrasi. Kehadiran anggota Polri dari latar belakang yang beragam diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik dan memperkuat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi kepolisian.

Kapolda juga menekankan bahwa seleksi tetap dilakukan secara objektif dan sesuai standar nasional. Anak-anak buruh yang memenuhi kriteria seleksi akan mendapatkan pendampingan, bimbingan persiapan tes, dan bantuan administratif.

Program ini disambut baik oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat, termasuk serikat buruh dan organisasi pendidikan. Mereka menilai kebijakan ini sebagai bentuk nyata keberpihakan institusi negara terhadap kelompok rentan, tanpa mengabaikan kualitas dan standar rekrutmen.
